Lex Universal ESP System

The Lex Universal ESP is a high-efficiency artificial lift system developed for oil, gas, and geothermal applications. Through detailed well analysis and customized system design, it delivers stable performance across a wide operating range, extends equipment runlife, and reduces power consumption and operating costs, even in harsh and high-temperature environments.
Up to 50% lower OPEX
Up to 40% longer runlife
Stable operation in gassy conditions (GVF up to 75%)

Advantages

We have improved the standard ESP to enhance the efficiency and reliability of Lex pumps in various well environments. Our engineering team thoroughly analyzes the incoming data to select the optimum efficiency and specific power consumption of each system (formation-wellbore-ESP). As a result, our solutions achieve the maximum efficiency and provide 30-40% runlife increase and 20-50% lower OPEX.

Overview

When choosing the artificial lift method, it is essential to consider all factors that may affect the performance and safety of equipment. Typical well problems such as unstable inflow, high discharge pressure, high rate, solids or high free gas content, viscosity, well deviation, etc., multiply failure risks and can lead to unstable operation, increased downtime and power consumption whilst also limiting the well potential rate.
Since 2016, we have supported our partners by delivering more than 2,500 Universal ESP systems. Our conventional ESP solutions are designed to provide reliable artificial lift across a wide range of production conditions, delivering high efficiency, operational flexibility, and long service life. The system is engineered to accommodate varying well conditions and production requirements through optimized pump stage selection, motor sizing, and component configurations. Manufactured from high-quality corrosion- and wear-resistant materials, our ESPs are capable of operating in demanding environments, including both oil and geothermal applications with elevated temperatures, high gas content, and abrasive solids. A Universal ESP system consists of the following major components: a multistage centrifugal pump, submersible induction motor, motor protector (seal section), intake or gas separator/gas handler, power cable, motor lead extension (MLE), cable protectors, and optional downhole monitoring and telemetry equipment. Additional accessories and specialized configurations can be incorporated to meet specific field requirements. We design and customize each ESP package using advanced engineering software and field performance analysis to ensure optimal equipment selection and maximum operating efficiency. Every system is assembled and subjected to comprehensive quality control and performance testing prior to shipment, ensuring compliance with design specifications and operational reliability. Combined with rigorous manufacturing standards and proven field performance, our conventional ESP solutions provide operators with a dependable, cost-effective, and efficient artificial lift system for both onshore and offshore applications.
