Artificial lift methods are used to operate most of the wells around the world. We design, improve, manufacture, supply, and service advanced artificial lift equipment for any downhole environment. The high quality and reliability of Lex technologies and equipment are assured by our compliance with the requirements of API and NACE / ISO industry standards.
We’ve developed our innovative PMM-driven Ultra-High-Speed ESP (UHS ESP™) with an operating speed between 1,000 and 12,000 rpm. UHS ESP™ provides effective operation in harsh well conditions, with limited power supply, and below perforation range.
We have improved the standard ESP to enhance the efficiency and reliability of Lex pumps in various well environments. Our engineering team thoroughly analyzes the incoming data to select the optimum efficiency and specific power consumption of each system (formation-wellbore-ESP). As a result, our solutions achieve the maximum efficiency and provide 30-40% runlife increase and 20-50% lower OPEX.
To solve production problems in wells experiencing depletion of reservoir energy after the gas-lift operation and boost production from geothermal wells, Blue Earth Energy Inc. (a Lex company) has developed the Turbox gas lift pumps. The system creates deep drawdown and avoids electricity use in the well by replacing the electric motor with a gas turbine. This works in combination with the innovative Lex Ultra-High-Speed centrifugal pump operating at speeds up to 15,000 rpm.
We develop and continually improve Lex Universal Permanent Magnet Motor (UPMM) technology - an alternative way to provide rotational energy for electrical submersible pumps. Lex features a product range of Lex UPMM from 85 to 12,000 rpm operating speeds, high efficiency up to 95%, operational flexibility, lower motor heating rise, stable operation at any frequencies, and high-temperature environments (specifically in geothermal wells) up to 392 °F (200 °C).
We have developed a drive for sucker rod pumps SynchroGear™ technology with up to 98% efficiency. The system integrates power-efficient Universal Permanent Magnet (PM) Motor and smart Variable Speed Drive without the need for a traditional V-belt transmission system.
To improve production in gassy wells, we designed the ESP with a jet pump (Jet ESP). The Jet ESP stabilizes the pump operation and increases the drawdown by reducing the bottom hole pressure. A jet pump and UHS ESP™ are being installed in a single completion string and are very effective in wells with high GOR, installed packer or in case of surface check valve failure.
We have developed the upgraded Lex Thru-Tubing ESP (TT ESP™) that is cable deployed through the 3.5" (89 mm) tubing. The system can quickly resume production in idle or non-operating wells caused by planned maintenance or pump failure. Compact TT ESP™ is riglessly cable-deployed into the tubing through the wellhead. The technology successfully replaces an expensive workover and prevents clogging of the bottom-hole area without killing fluid. The high nameplate operating speed (12,000 rpm) of the ESP and PMM ensure a compact design and much easier installation.
